Gone are the days when admission in into good engineering college ensured a decent job. The trend has changed. The job avenues have shrunk, while job seekers have swelled many folds. Even the IITs and NITs are not untouched.
Don’t follow the crowd. Pursue your passion. Students generally have craze for computer science or electronics, but what one needs to realize is that the branch one chooses would become one’s profession and would remain for life-time.
